Privacy policy

The short version: the forecast works in your browser. We receive information only when you choose to send a survey answer, request an email, contact us, or buy a product. We do not sell personal data.

The forecast: the dates and name you enter are used on your device. They are saved in your browser's local storage so the forecast is ready when you return. Peanutbean cannot read that saved profile. You can remove it with the "Forget these dates" button or by clearing your browser data.

Sharing a forecast: if you choose "Share this forecast", the birth date and due date are added to the link you send. They sit in the link's browser fragment, which browsers do not send to our server. Anyone who receives the link can see and use those dates. The baby's name is never included.

Cookies and analytics: Peanutbean does not set advertising or tracking cookies. Cloudflare Web Analytics gives us aggregate traffic information without creating a profile of you. Cloudflare also processes standard request data, such as IP addresses, to serve and protect the site.

The optional fussiness survey: if you tap a score, we send the baby's current week, the development window and the score to Cloudflare Analytics Engine. The survey payload contains no name, date, email address or device identifier. Your browser saves the date of your last answer locally so it does not ask again for six days.

Email reminders: if you enter an email address and an optional date, MailerLite processes them so we can send the messages you requested. Every email has an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing stops future messages, although MailerLite may keep a suppression record so you are not added again by mistake.

Purchases: Gumroad and Etsy process purchases under their own privacy terms. For a personalized product, you enter the baby's details on the checkout platform. Peanutbean uses those details only to make and deliver the order and handle related support. We do not add them to a child profile or use them for marketing.

Your choices: you can ask what purchase or contact information we hold, or ask us to delete it when we no longer need it for the order or a legal record. Email hello@peanutbean.com.
